Christmas in July with Crafty Friends

I must start this post with a huge apology to my lovely Crafty Friends Teamies - as I am nearly a week late posting my DT card for the current challenge, will remedy that in a mo, but to explain, I don't actually think that I have been in possession of a "full set of marbles" since my holiday! A fortnight ago most of the UK experienced heavy rain and a thunder storm and during this time I stepped out of the caravan to answer my mobile, slipped on the top step and ended up on the patio at the bottom on my knees - at the time I was more worried about cracking the screen on my mobile and Alistair was more interested in  moaning about my wearing flip flops on such a surface. I was able to stand and bear weight on my leg so was happy that there was no breakage, but as the last two weeks have progressed it is still extremely painful at times and had kept me awake of a night time. I was getting a bit fed up at the weekend, so went to our local out of hours gp, who diagnosed ligament damage and advised me to take co-codamol along with the ibruprofen. Having been doing this I have gone to other extreme that the painkillers are now making me really sleepy so one way or another I have been running on a fuzzy brain for the last two weeks......hence the reason it completely passed me by that I had a challenge to tell you all about!!!!!

So........ at the Crafty Friends Challenge, this time it's all about
Christmas in July!!!

our lovely sponsors are:

If you are our lucky winner of this challenge, you will receive the following fabulous prize...  3 individual digital images or 1 digital set of your choice from Beccy's Place Store

  3. Fab Christmas card Lisa! This is perfect for all ages but especially those difficult teenagers who don't do 'cute' anymore.
Ligament damage is more serious than a break and takes much longer to heal too. I hope your hubby is more concerned about you now :D. Take it easy my friend and get better soon. (mind you you're not the only one with a fuzzy brain as I just called you by a completely different name hence the deleted comment, doh!) Debra x

I'm so sorry to hear about your fall, it sounds very painful - I hope you get some relief from the pain and your ligaments mend quickly.
